Day 30: Blue!

Hello again audience, sorry for the late blog! I have just been busy today fiddling with things at home! Today's picture is of these interesting cranes which are located in the Salford quays. I am guessing they were used to move heavy loads off ships and onto lane when the quays were in use. What I love about this picture is the perfect blue sky in the background.
Today's questions is going to be a nice and simple one, What is your favourite colour? This is something I always have trouble answering because I don't really have one. I think I would have to say red but that is only if I had to pick one. So please leave a comment what you think about the picture and what is your favourite colour! Thank you for reading!
Now some random facts!
Blue is a colour, the perception of which is evoked by light having a spectrum dominated by energy with a wavelength of roughly 440–490 nm. It is considered one of the additive primary colours. On the HSV Colour Wheel, the complement of blue is yellow; that is, a colour corresponding to an equal mixture of red and green light. On a colour wheel based on traditional colour theory, the complementary colour to blue is considered to be orange (based on the Munsell colour wheel). The English language commonly uses "blue" to refer to any colour from navy blue to cyan. The word itself is derived from theOld French word bleu.

I am digging the pic today. My sky here is actually blue (with some puffy clouds) and sunny too! I have two favorite colors, i love the color purple because its a hot spring color this year, and it signifies royalty, imperialism, nobility, friendship, passion, sharing, wisdom, and sophistication and many others, but these are my favs! :) and i love black for clothes because its slimming! Lol

  5. Anon - beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

That blue sky is amazing. And I personally think the cranes make an interesting focal point. I also struggle with picking one favourite colour because all of them can be lovely in different ways.
