Day 60: Easter :D

Hello again audience, once again I have to apologise for missing my blog yesterday, so I told you I would make it up to you! This picture took me and my partner's father almost 45 minutes to set up and this is the result :P The picture is of "påskris" Which in English is Easter Branches. We used multiple flashes and used the right background and stand :P and I think the result is very professionally!

The question on today's blog is how to you celebrate Easter? In England for my family the Easter bunny brings eggs and hides them around the garden and then we have to go find them! In Sweden they dress up as "Easter witches", which are kind and cute witches, when they are children and go around to houses and wish people "happy Easter" and then get given sweeties. On Easter Saturday the in the evening or day children are given large Easter eggs filled with sweeties from the Easter bunny.

Thank you for reading today's blog, and I hope it makes up for missing one day, I have just been so distracted! I hope everyone is having an awesome break and I will see you again tomorrow! Thank you for reading!
Now some random facts!

Easter is the central feast in the Christian liturgical year. According to the Canonical gospels, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. Christians typically celebrate this resurrection on Easter Day or Easter Sunday (also Resurrection Day or Resurrection Sunday), two days after Good Friday and three days after Maundy Thursday. The chronology of his death and resurrection is variously interpreted to be between AD 26 and 36, traditionally 33.
Easter also refers to the season of the church year called Eastertide or the Easter Season. Traditionally the Easter Season lasted for the forty days from Easter Day until Ascension Day. The first week of the Easter Season is known as Easter Week or the Octave of Easter. The week from Palm Sunday to Easter is known as Holy Week. Easter also marks the end of Lent, a season of fasting, prayer, and penance.

that picture is DAZZLING! it should be a postcard! :) it's the cutest, most colorful easter tree ever! i am glad you all spent so much time on it so that we could enjoy it! and i love the chicks too! they're so fluffy! :) i also enjoyed hearing how you all celebrate easter! at our house we dye easter eggs the day before with the kids and adults. then when the kids are asleep the "easter bunny" fills there colorful basket (with easter grass) with sweets (jelly beans, a big chocolate bunny, peeps, etc.) and sometimes a toy for the children when they wake up easter morning, some go to church, we go to my moms house and we have an easter egg hunt where the adults hide the eggs and then the kids go find them with there baskets (usually not finding one or two somewhere in the yard? lol) then we have a bbq and mom makes her yummy potato salad and we pig out! :) some people have a ham dinner. that's about it for our family. i just enjoy spending time with them and being thankful! :) and we try to dress up. Happy Easter to you all! :)
